Lowering the environmental impact of your print infrastructure is mostly about lowering energy consumption and resource consumption. Modern printing devices and printing software solutions are designed to be as efficient and eco-conscious as possible, and we work with our customers to provide sustainable print solutions and services to minimise the environmental impact of printing. Our manufacturing partners have a responsibility to set objectives that work towards lowering emissions and helping both biodiversity and the environment.
SUSTAINABLE PRINTING
The total carbon footprint of many of the devices we offer is offset. They not only include the CO2 that is being emitted during the production and transportation of our products but throughout the entire product life-cycle.
New manufactured products have had an environmental impact throughout their lifecycle, these are now made with environmentally friendly materials that are sourced and certain harmful chemical substances are banned.
Sustainability is maximised across all business functions – from packaging and logistics to marketing and servicing. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle is achieved though offering machines in collaboration with manufacturers who are committed to the circular economy. Many manufacturers now offer a recycling collection for their toners and ensure that up to 95% of their MFD components can be recycled.
